Owner of NJ Dance & Show. She's originally from Paraguay. She started dancing at the age of six and has followed her lifelong passion for dance by studying all forms of dance including ballet, jazz, pointe, folk, contemporary, and ballroom.
Carolina received her associate's degree in Musical Theater and continues training at Peridance Capezio Center in New York. Carolina received her certification in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) in April 2017.
Carolina started teaching at age 17 and was later a dancer-choreographer on a well-known TV program in Paraguay and Chile. She also competed professionally in South America and the United States.
Carolina's goal is to inspire her students to discover and love dance as much as she does.
Miss Michelle has been dancing since the age of 7, throughout her early dance education, she had the privilege to study under great dance legends, various Radio City Rockettes, & ballet teachers/dancers from NYC Ballet and American Ballet Theatre.
She has studied dance at various NJ & NYC studios, County College of Morris, SUNNY Buffalo State College, National & International dance workshops & conventions. Miss Michelle owned and operated her own dance studio for 7 years. Her choreography, dancers, and costuming have won many awards at national dance competitions.
She has choreographed events for various organizations and has written a Young Children’s Dance Program. Miss Michelle is a member of Dance Masters of America (DMA) & Associate Dance Teachers of New Jersey (ADTNJ). Recently she has joined the board for ADTNJ.
She is certified to teach and a graduate from DMA’s Teacher Training School has her National Safety Certification through USA Gymnastics (USAG) and is a National Examiner for Dance Masters of America.
She continues her dance education by attending national & international dance workshops & conventions throughout the year.
Miss Michelle is excellent at working with dancers of all ages, teaches each dancer as an individual, thrives on having each dancer reach their personal goals, & loves to choreograph. She enthusiastically looks forward to teaching dancers, of all ages, levels and various disciplines every day. For her; “dance is the emotional art of music”.
Julie is originally from southern New Jersey, but recently moved to the northern New Jersey area from New York. Julie began dancing at the age of 5 at a local studio and continued her training at various studios, schools and intensives throughout the years. She was given the opportunity to travel across the country to tour with the Dance Olympus VIP program at the age of 16.
She earned her BFA in Dance Performance from Montclair State University in 2014, receiving the Linda Roberts Outstanding Performer Award and Magna Cum Laude honoree. She performed works by choreographers such as Larry Keigwin, Paul Taylor, Martha Graham, Jose Limon, Frederick Earl Mosley and Andrea Miller. After graduating from MSU, Julie worked in New York as a freelance dancer for Freespace Dance, TunanuT, Life Dance Company and KN Dance Entertainment. She was booked excellent projects including SKYES “Give Me More” music video, a World Premiere of “Aubade” with Douglas Dunn & Dancers, and more.
Julie has leaned on her training and experience from her performance career to transition into teaching. She has also gained her certification in personal training to expand on her knowledge and help develop strong, healthy and well-rounded dancers. Julie is so excited to be part of NJ Dance & Show team and can’t wait to help others discover the joy of dance!
Alyson is a teacher at NJ Dance & Show for the past 6 years.
She has been dancing, choreographing, and performing for an impressive 40 years.
She has showcased her talent in various competitions and on prestigious stages like Arts Stage, CCM, and Drew University.
She's passionate and loves teaching our beginner and advanced class.
Since the age of seven, Zaida has dedicated her life to the study of ballet, jazz, Spanish dance, and Paraguayan folklore, achieving the title of teacher in each of these styles. Additionally, she has practiced contemporary dance for the past ten years. Her career includes participation in numerous international competitions in South America and six years of teaching experience. She has also obtained certification as a Zumba instructor. Zaida considers herself a person who finds the greatest happiness in dancing and is passionate about sharing this love with her students, instilling in them technique, discipline, and camaraderie.
Andy studied at the National Ballet School in Cuba from 2006 to 2015. He has taught ballet at Legacy Dance Academy in El Paso, California, and Star Dance Studio in Miami, Florida. His professional experience includes performing with Milwaukee Ballet from 2015 to 2020, Indianapolis Ballet in 2019, Cleveland Ballet from 2017 to 2018, Florida Classic Ballet from 2016 to 2017, Classical Ballet of Sinaloa in Mexico in 2016, and Cuban National Ballet from 2015 to 2016.
